Tracy's Child care - ABOUT TRACY

My name is Tracy Pursell, I became a registered carer in May 1997 so I have been caring for children for quite some time. I have three grow up children off my own. I only have one daughter that is living at home. We have a cat, sheep, chooks to keep us company. On my day’s off I like to go fishing, camping, catching up with friends or watch a good movie.

I offer child care week days from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 3:00pm Friday . I charge full fee for absences. With regard to payment, it can occur weekly or fortnightly. I don’t like to ask for money, so please decide on the method of payment and pay on time, this also applies to signing of time-sheets.

I would prefer that children supply their own lunch. I have no problem with re-heating food, cooking noodles, baked beans, spaghetti etc. At morning tea we like to sit and have a piece of fruit. If you have a special needs, please do not hesitate to discuss these with me.

In care we play all sorts of games, do lots of crafts such as painting, gluing, drawing, and playing with play dough. On nice warm days I like to take the children outside to play in the sand box , ride the bikes. In the warmer months we like to get out the water play and toys. We read stories, sing songs and even do some cooking. We also like to go exploring the paddocks and the creek bed.

I cater for children from 6 weeks to school age and have lots of fun caring for them too. I look forward to having the opportunity to care for your child.

By creating a safe, loving, respectful environment, children have the greatest opportunity to grow and develop. Such an environment should be the foundation of all childcare programs, however, I believe it is an educator's duty to go above and beyond safety, love and respect. I know as an, educator, I should strive to create an environment that is fulfilling, enriching and supporting of all possible learning and growing opportunities
